H. L. Studio

As Punjabi music undergoes metamorphosis, technological expertise crosses the frontiers and becomes accesssible simultaneously across the globe. Listeners turn discerning as their choice of surround system speakers reflects. In such a scenario, Chandigarh emerges as a recording centre of sorts. From 2 or 4 tracks the recording has graduated to a multiple tracks of 24, 36, 48, etc.

To provide high quality recording facilities in this region, the project to install a state -of- the-art studio was conceived and after a period of sincere efforts, H.L. Studio was finally inaugrated on 2nd June,1998 by the reknowned Music Director, Mr. Uttam Singh.

H.L. Studio, provides some of the best recording facilities in India. It is a sister concern of the audio company CATRACK. Besides the assignments of CATRACK, the studio also takes upon freelance assignments for various clients. The New Year Programmes made by CATRACK like BHANGRA HEROES, DHOL MAHIYA have been recorded in the studio itself. The studio has clients all around India. Unlike other studios besides the equipments, the staff of the studio is amongst the best in the industry.

The studio is accoustically treated and fitted with the latest equipment in the field of audio and video media. The studio was designed and the equipment was installed for audio and video recording by the famous sound engineer Daman Sood. It has been very asthetically designed with special attention to acoustics. It is replete with recorder mixer, post production reverbs, special harmoniser, etc.
