Q: - Tell us something about your Group?
PM: This is first Bhangra Group from India, Punjabi Munde is a Group of musicians led by lead vocalists named my self Satnam and my younger brother Jaswant at village Mullanpur near Chandigarh. With an attitude to do something creative, something that always attracts our childhood and youth to follow the steps of our idol the great national and international Punjabi Singer Gurdas Maan and my Chacha jee Shri Randheer Singh Dheera.
Q: - Whom have you got training
from?
Satnam: Music is in our heart, our Chacha jee Shri Randheer Singh Dheera is himself a Dhadi and a Sarangi Player. He found the talent in us at early age of 10 and encouraged us to persue singing. I started doing Bhangra at early age of 9 and perform many shows in India and abroad.
Q:- You are a Bhangra Artiste but
now you turned your career to singing why so ?
Satnam: No, I think both the careers are related to each other, Bhangra is not performed without music and music is handicap without dance. So, Bhangra is in my veins and singing is flowing through it.
Q: - When were your singing talent noticed?
Satnam: We did our schooling in Amritsar and right from very first day my music teacher acknowledged the singing & dancing talent in me. I started participating at regional and national level school competitions, which contribute a lot in boosting my confidence. At that time my brother was just 4 years old. At the age of 15, I started giving public performances on stage all over Punjab.
Q: - Is this your debut Album?
Jaswant: Yes This is our first experience.
Q:
- Where you are more comfortable, Studio or Stage?
Satnam: I consider my self a singer first than a performer but it's my fans opinion that on stage I am electrifying. Yes one thing is there on stage you are always on your toes never relaxed, as a little mistake can be embarrassing. I normally enjoy more with public because you get your rewards at the same moment.
Q: - Comment upon the tie-up with
the recorded Company?
Satnam: Till 1999, we were some how not satisfied with the things had been for us. But our introduction with Mr. Gaurav Trehan of Catrack Cassettes Industries has changed the whole scenario and we found the right direction to full fill our singing careers. We just feel it's our second home. The Company works very hard to promote right talent.
Q: - Tell us about your new Album “Mahi Mahi” ?
Satnam: This was the best opportunity in our singing career and we just grabbed it with both hands. Music Director of this Album is Surinder Bachan and lyricists are Raj Kakra & Harjeet Har. We all worked hard and tried to give all colours of music to make this Album complete. The video, which was shot near Chandigarh, is of title song "Mahi Mahi" comprising both of us and models Arshad, Radhika & Gurkirtan. It's a light romantic has Sohni Mahiwal's story based song. After the positive response of this song the company decided to shoot one more video of the same album.
Q: - The people behind your success?
Satnam:
I would like to thanks for the God for giving
me the gift in the form of my daughter who is everything 
for
me. I would like to thanks personally Mr. Trehan & my family who always
stood by me whole-heartedly and pushed me in my struggling days and my Chacha
jee Mr. Randheer Singh Dheera.
Q: - What is your future plans?
Satnam: I want to prove my talent to the world. I believe in destiny and I am quite sure it's in my flavor. I would try hard and make it big with my positive attitude and self-determination. And at last special thanks to my Chacha jee Randheer Singh Dheerai, Mr. Gaurav Trehan and my family.
